Isn't it a vision check?
It's not just about checking for glasses! We provide full and comprehensive eye examinations where we test and assess your vision as well as the health of your eyes. We not only look for evidence of eye disease such as glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration but can also detect ocular signs of general disease such as diabetes and high blood pressure.
What else can you do for me?
We offer additional services including computerised visual field testing, foreign body removal, eye disease consultation, dry eye treatment, digital retinal photography and much much more.
Why do I need an eye test?
Our eyes and vision change over time and with many of these changes taking place gradually they often go unnoticed or without obvious symptoms. Early detection of eye disease allows treatment before permanent loss of vision or even blindness occurs.
What if I have a problem?
We offer the best solutions for all your eyecare needs! With an extensive range of quality frames and lenses, contact lenses and sunglasses to choose from, our experienced staff can recommend the best options based on your lifestyle and prescription needs.
What does it cost?
We bulk bill all eye exams to Medicare for all eligible card holders. Certain extra tests may incur a small fee but we will let you know before hand.

What's the difference?
Children's eyes are prone to certain problems. Binouolar and accommodative disorders are more common in kids. Tests for lazy eyes and eye turns can quicken treatment and have better chance of successful outcome.

Why do I need another eye test?
Contact lenses work differently to glasses! Even if you have a glasses prescription, or don’t require any visual correction, you will need a contact lens consultation. At this test we will prescribe a contact lens designed to suit your vision and needs. We then check that your lenses fit correctly and comfortably, and provide clear vision. You will also be shown how to insert and remove them safely, and how to clean and care for your new contact lenses.
