Contact lenses are a safe and affordable addition to wearing glasses. When properly fitted they provide excellent comfort and vision, and in some cases better vision than that with spectacles.

Can I wear contacts?
Just about everyone can wear contact lenses! Solutions are available for all the common refractive problems including myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and even presbyopia. With the recent introduction of healthier and more “wettable” materials contact lenses are worth trying even if you have been unsuccessful in the past.

Can I change my eye colour?
Yes! Cosmetic contact lenses are now available in a wider range of designs and colours. They come with or with out corrective prescriptions and are now available in daily lenses. From subtle to dramatic, to enhance or completely change your existing eye colour we are certain to have the right lens for the look you want.

What do I do now?
Contact lenses work differently to glasses! Even if you have a glasses prescription, or don’t require any visual correction, you will need a contact lens consultation. At this test we will prescribe a contact lens designed to suit your vision and needs. We then check that your lenses fit correctly and comfortably, and provide clear vision. You will also be shown how to insert and remove them safely, and how to clean and care for your new contact lenses.
